World peace

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Cast away wretched objects failing purpose

For what good are eyes that fail to see?

Bag the stone and beat it bloody flat-

For what good is a heart that fails to beat beat beat?

Telling grave words upon faded tombstones,

Hardly lives that dive straight to the hole we sleep-

Lying on my breast whispering words of peace?

What fails to connect your brain to your obscene reality?

Do you think the hippies would have even materialized

If not for the drug intensified orgasm and radical leaders?

You live dazed in a world with children operating cannons,

Your ideals are obsolete; the only middle ground is tolerance.

Open your eyes

-Or you’ll lay scattered limb overlaying organ overlaying tissue

A mass of organs and good intentions, left for the dog to lick up.

Really strong stuff, but hypnotically truthful all the same, and in its truth I find you have delivered the message with poetic elegance... :)"R"
