You Were at the Bus Stop.

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive
I saw you last night I am sure I did
Stood at the bus stop while I was waiting for the 133.
Having yet to meet I knew only the shadow of your face
But I am sure it was you sure it was you stood there.
The bus came the doors opened, I got on, you didn't,
I glanced back as I pulled away, our eyes finally meeting,
I watched you as you stood still, blending into the distance,
And upon the top deck I sat down, and I wondered...
Did you see me?

As always you use a small amount of words to say so very much. I really enjoyed this and thank you for sharing.

I agree there, so much feeling and desire contained in the very fewest of words, reflects how little we sometimes need to just feel content. Really beautiful piece, "R"
