Mercy for Two

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

I was the only one you ever loved

So it was left to me to set you free

(Mercy please….Oh mercy me)

Step 1

Against your dying pain in this tic-toc locking clock,

I remain

Half her mirage under helter skelter, the other over-inflamed,

In pain

Dead eyes can’t see skin un-wrinkling magic TV crème,

Her dream

Finding that strychnine sunrise abducted me from my wife,

I scream

                                                ..                                  .

Step 2

Battling back non-casting shadows so alone in this room,

Your dying gloom

In chains waiting only for you, I hope your time didn’t lie,

For darkness looms

I’ve varnished my promise on your remaining truth,

Finding tic-toc clocks can un-locked my glock,

Of course she knew!

Stranded here in her lost memories of me now,

                                                ..                                  .

Step 3

Texting orders for granite stone’s

I’ve claimed

Tic, tic, tic toc, click unlock glock

Finger strained

Locked and loaded with brass exploded

In my brains

Remains                       quietus
