In my fears

                   unfounded

In the terrors

                     of my mind

                                        I want to tear it

                                                                 all down

before I fail or

                       I am found to be

                                                  something else......

Something that's

                         quaking with worries

                                                         and paranoia.

My insecurities will

                              be laid bare.

All layers of bravado

                                 gone....

Now just me and my

                                 fears for you to see.

In reading of your four poems recently, I love the clean, simple structure of each of them. The message contained in them being a bit shaded, I cant help but hope that the star of each of these poems find a way to walk in the sun. I like your style.

Welcome to the site. Of your posts "...Glimmer of Hope," is my personal favorite. Should the third line in the Glimmer poem be "Your eyes." Oh, and I am sensing a Capricorn here, am I right?

Quite right my good chap! I did have a typo...must get a proofreader.
I am not however a capricorn, I am a cancer, a sensitive and moody bunch we often are.
