I am an all American

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

I am a hypocrite and I know it

I speak of a fight I am separate from.

I speak morals I do not hold.

I am but normal.

I am an artist, who speaks in lines,

And yet my lines have been traced,

I am forgotten in the mass,

I am but a number.

I am a liar, and I know it.

I speak words for the joy of ears,

I speak surrealist English,

I am but a human.

I like this very much... it is honest beyond it's words. Thanks

This is a brave poem to write in these times, when patriotism is obsession. Thanks for the mirror that we may all hold it up before ourselves.
