Showers of smiles
like shadows of billowing
clouds on blankets
of fairytale snow.

Laughter like endless
miles of stars
shimmering off
the tip of your nose.

Gazing at crystals
fallen from heaven
collecting to become
pools of life.

But these old memories of rain keep me waiting inside.

A very short but vivid poem, it makes me see what the poet does. The last line is what makes it more than just a nice ditty, but imparts deeper meaning. Bravo!
