Pulsating and savage
Makes me want to cut all ties
And head deep into the wild.
Calling and beckoning,
Urge me to come touch the clouds
In a world outside of sound.
Broken and bruised,
Longs for a new beginning, a fresh start
To heal what was torn apart.
Free and inquisitive,
Thunder a beat that calls my name
And asks me to also be untamed.
Loud and mournful,
Issues from a lone wolf on the prowl
Somewhere in the forest’s bowels.
I cannot resist…
Bound and fettered,
Has, within this young body, grown old
And made me callous and cold.
Divided and torn,
Cannot continue to, this existence, abide
And keep one half, the other hide.
Pulsating and savage,
Made me sever every human tie
And head, forevermore, into the wild.
