Postmenopausal Women (Reformatted )

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

There's a wisdom that only comes with time

known to the philosopher and sage

and to a single class of discriminating lass

wisdom known to gals of just a certain age

>

Chorus

They know what they want and how they’ll get it

I love postmenopausal women

love one just once and you sure won’t forget it

I love postmenopausal women

They’re sexy and serene with a touch of raunch

they don’t mind their men with a little paunch

nothing compares with the ambiance

of a postmenopausal woman

I know this lady, her name is Claire

She quirky and cute and so debonaire

there’s something she does with her wondrous hands

that makes me so glad I was born a man

try it just once and you’ll understand

why I love postmenopausal women

I stopped by to see a gal named Betz

her kissing and hugging’s’s as good as it gets

She’s the love of my life, the girl of my dreams

she’s the cream of the crop if you know what I mean

She’s just sixty-one, going on seventeen

she’s why I love postmenopausal women

A woman is like a a flask of fine wine

(ah those postmenopausal women)

she only gets better and better with time

(I love postmenopausal women)

She knows what to do like it’s nothing new

that’s what a few decades of practice will do

She could teach younger women a thing or two

I love postmenopausal women

They’re so mature

I so love postmenopausal women

they're over the baby making thing. they're over the concept of building a so called "future." oh some may still want stability and a genuine relationship, i just mean that they no longer, the single one's we're talking about, strive or crave over the so called "american dream," picket fences, white houses, two kids and so on and so on. i think many of them hurdle those illusions. and coupled with the fact that they are much more liberated than post-menopausal women of old(no pun intended, or perhaps so), this mixture makes quite a potent mixture. not to mention that this is a hell of a poem.

Thanks. Astute observations, but I just like to sleep with them...or at least one very particular one. ;-)
