Face or words

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Shall it be Shall it might
the last words I ever write.

What will you remember
the words to which you read
the message in between the lines
or the face behind of it all.

This face that belongs to me.

Fear to one shall not be fear to another,

Ones head shall be a closed door.

Often forgotten about,
or thought about in cautious context.

For what do you think or feel,
when you read these words that I in despair often write.

Shall you judge solemnly on the conclusion of a word,
or dig deeper into the message of emotion.

Shall it be the underlying message for the memory of this so called me..

Surreal piece. Effective. I love "Ones head shall be a closed door." Very nice.

It poses an intriguing question - which shall one be remembered by... and which matters more? -Soulja4Alethia

I agree with Alberto about that line really standing out. It reminds me of Poe in the best way possible. Thanks for sharing this!

I am glad all of you can appreciate the true meaning of this peom, and why it was written. Typical of me though, Random thoughts while cleaning the house after a tribute poem of mine was published in a self healing book. I thought about the poem, and what it ment to me, as well as what it was about. Then came to mind, that possibly no one would remember the words, or the meaning, or even the one who wrote it.

Thank you for the comments, they are much appreciated.
